Last night was our first Community Games Open Event and we had so much fun!
What took place...
The event started off with outdoor games, an inflatable obstacle course, a bouncy castle, penalty shoot out, rugby tackle challenge and zorbing within the main hall.
With activities such as traditional garden games was exciting to see the parents get involved as well.
Plenty of children battled it out in the Tackle Bag Challenge and the winning child achieved a brilliant score of 20.1 seconds but another child was only just behind with 20.4 seconds.
The event followed with a presentation from Jess Clayton of West Yorkshire Police about drugs and County Lines which was attended by PCSO Rachel Crossland, and Constituency Support officer for Kim Leadbeater MP Clare Black.
There was more...
let's wrap it up...
Around 20 plus young people from our Youth Hub attended and participated in this discussion.
We finished the evening with youth club activities of table tennis, pool, crafts, music and cooked pasta for everyone to eat.
